The tragic story of Winkie, the Eastern Box Turtle, who escaped from my child’s watchful eye one day while they were playing in the yard. One wouldn’t expect a turtle to be so quick or stealthy, but Winkie found his freedom through amazing skill and determination. Free Winkie!
